Terms of Service
The terms that apply to every booking and ride.
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Service govern all bookings and transportation provided by GTA Air Transit ("we," "us," "our"). By booking a ride, you agree to these terms.
1. Reservations & Confirmation
- All reservations include an email confirmation outlining booking details and applicable cancellation policies.
- Passengers also receive a follow-up email, phone call, or SMS the day prior to travel to confirm pickup time and location.
- Pickup times may be adjusted slightly due to traffic, weather, or scheduling factors.
- Passengers traveling to the airport are dropped off at the entrance closest to their airline's check-in area.
2. Booking & Payment
- Advance notice of a few days is recommended for the best service; last-minute bookings are accommodated whenever possible.
- Accepted payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit, Cash (in person), or GTA Air Transit account billing.
3. Gratuities
Tipping is optional but appreciated. A gratuity of 10-15% is customary for good service and can be added during booking or paid directly to the driver.
4. Baggage Allowance
Each passenger is allowed 1 checked (hold) luggage (max 158 cm / 62 in total, max 23 kg / 50 lb), 1 carry-on bag (max 55 x 40 x 23 cm), and 1 personal item (handbag).
Additional charges:
- Extra luggage: $30 each
- Bike / ski equipment / similar: $75
- Dog: $50 (1 only)
- Baby stroller or wheelchair: Free
Please tell us about any extra items ahead of time so we can confirm availability, as it depends on the season. Larger quantities (up to a dozen items) can be accommodated when pre-arranged and are priced individually. Service animals are always welcome at no additional charge and are never required to be crated or caged; guests traveling with a service animal receive a private ride to the airport. Pets that are not service animals are welcome too but must travel in a suitable pet carrier.
5. Baggage Liability
Liability for baggage is limited to $200 per adult and $100 per child. Passengers are responsible for labeling and identifying their luggage during loading and unloading.
6. Vehicle Rules
- No smoking and no alcohol in vehicles. Penalty: $500 per violation.
- Spills (coffee or other liquids) requiring professional cleaning: $100 per incident.
- Physical damage to the vehicle is charged based on the dealership's assessment.
- Service is refused to any guest found intoxicated or under the influence of drugs; full charges remain applicable for their transfer.
7. Waiting Time - Airport Pickups
- Complimentary waiting time: 1 hour.
- After 1 hour: $20 per additional hour.
- Maximum waiting time: 3 hours; after 3 hours, full charge applies.
- If all vehicles are occupied and a pickup must be completed in one of our cities, passengers who arrived late may need to wait until the current drop-off is completed; in this case, no extra charge applies.
8. Airport Pickup Locations
- Terminal 1: Door A (Arrivals), inner lane.
- Terminal 3: Door A / Post 5, inner lane.
Passengers must be ready at pickup time. Any stops (washroom, coffee, etc.) should be made after pickup or coordinated with airport staff/security beforehand; vehicles cannot wait in these areas.
9. Residential Pickup Policy
- Passengers must be ready at the scheduled pickup time.
- Waiting time: 15 minutes maximum. After 15 minutes, the driver will leave and the full charge applies.
- We are not responsible for missed flights due to such delays.
10. Cancellation Policy
- Full refund: cancellations at least 24 hours prior to departure.
- Within 24 hours: a $20 per-person administration fee applies; the remaining balance is issued as a travel credit.
- Travel credits must be booked within one year and used within 16 months of issuance; they have no cash value.
- No-show: passengers who do not show up are not eligible for a refund or credit.
11. Flight Monitoring
Passengers are responsible for checking outbound flight times. For airport pickups, our team monitors flight arrival times and adjusts your pickup when needed if a flight is delayed or lands early.
12. Service Reliability
GTA Air Transit operates 24/7, year-round. All passengers receive a confirmation prior to departure. Weather conditions are monitored and passengers are notified if necessary.
13. Changes
All changes must be made prior to departure.
